A few things to remember when logiing into Facebook
- VIRUS CHECKER
Always have an up to date virus checker, i like to use AVG as its free and doesn;t take too much of your pc resources up.
- CHECK THE URL
Always make sure that you are logging into Facebook at http://www.facebook.com. Its important to remember this as there are a lot of sites out there that try to con you into believing that they are facebook, a useful thing to watch out for as sites that might start like http://www.net.facebook.com for example, this looks like an official site but notice the “net” before the facebook and that is where they con you. Please be aware.
- E-MAIL PROTECTION
Make sure that your e-mails are protected.
- FIREWALL
Try to make sure that you always have your firewall on, its there for a reason.
- KEEP ALL YOU DETAILS TO YOURSELF
Never ever give your details out to anyone. EVER.
- 6. FORGET ME
Never use “remember me” features, they sound good and give you an easy log in but if anyone else uses the computer they can change your details and thats your profile gone.
